Designed for operators, drivers and minders of machines and devices on which to install the engine D-50 and D-50L, engineers and other persons engaged in the operation and maintenance of engines. Corresponds to the default of technical documentation as of May 1, 1968.
The D-50 and D-50L, manufactured by Minsk Motor Plant, used as a power plant on wheeled tractors MTZ-50, MT-50L, MTZ-52 MTZ-52L, MTZ-50X, crawler tractors, T-54B, T- 54C, T-54L, excavators ETC-181 ETC-201 and
ETC-202, loaders D-451 D-560 D-566 and other machines and installations for various purposes. The engines are different from previously manufactured for tractors class 1,4 ton underweight, improved the power and economic performance, reduced size, higher durability. The engines are different systems start: engine D-50 has a system starting from the electric starter, the D-50L - from start-up gasoline engine that runs an electric starter. Construction sites and mechanisms of engines designed for long, not less than 5000 hours work without a major overhaul under the condition of proper operation and timely maintenance.
