Cobra 230 M.E. Concept

The purpose of the Cobra 230 M.E. concept was to explorer a styling theme for the upcoming mid-engine sportscar code-named GN34. It may or may not have represented the final styling of the GN34, which wasn't scheduled to go into production until at least 1989 anyway. But it does show Ford's thinking.

It was configured as a trans-continental freeway cruiser,...............
The entire design was based on '92 Taurus SHO mechanicals, with its own steel tube spaceframe chassis.
Like the M1 Mclaren, the driver sat in the center, so that it could be driven anywhere in the world without modification and the rear seat could accommodate 1 or 2 passengers.
