Hello,
I hope it's ok to write in english as I can't swedish (can only understand some) and I'm guessing not that many of you could read finnish
I just though about saying "Thank you" to all of you who have shown your Hako and shared information on this site. It has been very helpful for me after I bought one about a year ago.
In the winter I started building a front
loader to make it more useful instead of being just a toy. I finished first version in the
spring but it wasn't powerful enough to lift more than an empty
bucket. That was because original
hydraulic pump was only pushing 40 bars of
pressure and in my calculations I thought it could push some more. I had to fit a new pump and make a new
oil tank, then add rear weight and fill the rear tires with salt water. I was also able to move front axle a little forward that helped a lot with the balance. After that it has proven that a mini-tracktor from 60's can still be a useful tool in small scale working. Until now I have spread two
truck loads of soil and one load gravel that would have been too much for me with just a shovel and wheelbarrow or at least taken a lot longer time. Couple of pictures for your joy
