O&K FACE SHOVEL LOOK BACK

There was a time when O&K shovels were the dominant force in face shovels for the mining and quarrying industries. Although the German brand has disappeared as such, following takeovers by Terex, Bucyrus and more latterly Caterpillar, there are still a good number of the red and white machines at work around the globe today.

GORY TASK FOR EXCAVATOR OPERATOR ON THE BEACH

NEW KIT GALORE AT THE ROYAL CORNWALL SHOW (PART ONE)

The Digger Man Blog paid its regular visit to what is recognised as one of the premier events of this type in the country. Despite dodgy weather forecasts the show was bathed in sunshine for much of the three days, which made it a delight as I toured the various machinery trade stands.
