Hi all,
Here's another quick update.
Have finally finished the electrics, and now the engine starts the way it should. So far it seems to be running smoothly. Have also replaced the wires for the throttle
control and engine cut-off. Now I can even shut her down without having to climb back to the engine to shut her down.
The old ignition
key assembly was damaged by water and corrotion, so rather than replacing it with a new original one, I have replaced it with a keyless
switch.
Have used her a little bit this weekend, and have to say I'm surprised how strong she is. Even the
tracks seems to run smoothly.
Can't wait to put her to work on a real project.
Things remaining to do:
- Mount the
door for the
cab (just finished painting it, still have to mount the windows in the door)
- Mount the seat
- Mount front
window
- Mount
air filter (missing
hose from engine to airfilter)
