I'm definitely sure it is not meant to leak from the crank relief valve….This is the last line of defence...If it is doing this, you should check the master relief valve on VB3 (the valve block nearest when you open the canopy and the one that controls the slew motor)...I am not at home and have no "Bible"so can't be exact but there is an MRV and SLRV on the valve blocks and cross line releif valves and check valves on the pipes to the slew motor...If it is blowing oil out of the crank case for the motor, personally, I would stop working, as you risk damaging the slew motor (blowing the crank case) which is more expensive to fix. You can buy an hydraulic testing gauge and fitting for about £20 and a slew motor is £750 ...Others on here will probably advise you better than me….Good luck and let us know how you get on.
