Slew motor seals

I hope someone can give me some advice here...since I got the Hymac in 2016, the slew has been very sloppy and creeps to the right if I am working on a hill. It holds when turning left but it would be difficult to load a trailer. I have changed check valves and bled air from suction tank etc but think it is the seals in the slew motor. Has anyone done this before and is it a big job? A seal kit costs around £100.

I need to do the rotary distributor too but will wait until I have the machine back to the house. I think I could do that easily.

I know you guys like pictures so I'll post some of the wilderness I am clearing. The drains hadn't been cleaned in about 20 years and trees had began to grow into the field as can be seen in the first photo...Happy Hymacing from Ireland.

Big stones you have there. Nice pics! Unfortunately I do not know anything about the slew function, mine is not so easy to operate in slopes either so i will follow this

Thanks Andy...My Grandfather said the land had been covered with an Ice Glacier 1000's of years ago and the fields are full of these giant rocks...It was difficult to plough so I dug them up and buried them...out of site, out of mind

I will let you know if I will attempt the slew motor...a second hand one is very expensive and might be worse than the one I have..

Hmm, planting stones.. Is that really nice to coming generations? They will multiply and grow to the surface again.....

Peter...They are below the depth of a plough...I could have built the great pyramid of Giza...then archeologists could have wondered what it was...lol
