Boom hoist cylinder leak

Hi,

I am going to change the seals on the boom cylinders on my Hymac.
When I allready have the cylinders of the machine it is a good time to change the bushings also.

My questions that I was hoping someone can help me with is:

In the parts manual that followed the macine the bushings is descripted as "Ball Bushings" and have part number 114 4067 for the bottom one and
114 4066 for the one on the top.

In the manual that lays under downloads here on Maskinisten the bushings is deskripted as a "radial joint bearing" and have part number 114 4514 for the bottom one and 114 4513 for the one on the top.

What is the difference between the ball bushings and the radial joint bearings? Are they interchangeable and is one bether than the other one?

Where can I purchase these parts?

Hi A Carl,

I have spoken to Mr Richard Gould of Hymac parts & service, he has told me that the parts you require should be available off the shelf from the Hymac dealer in Sweden.
You will need to quote your machine identification number from the chassis plate.

acarl is Norwegian so it might be easier for him if the parts could be found i Norway.

I will have another word with Richard Gould for A Carl but I think that the Swedish Hymac dealer covers all of Scandanavia unless I am mistaken, I would also point out that the Swedish dealer is very well established and knows all the information that is required he can also supply any parts needed.

I haven't been in contact with Richard Gould for the last few days, I can tell you that all the parts for your machine are available, either from Richard or from Eric Petterson I don't think that there is a Hymac dealer in Norway so here is Richard Goulds number he can help you.
