The queen is back on track!

Been a while since i uploded any pictures, apologize for that, but here is a pic on great macy with some new paint on, there is some work left to put my hands on, lights and paint undercarrige for ex.

she still do her job very well!:)

I note that there are different colurs on the boom cylinders.
Is it to remember the different sides of the machine?

bought some real heavy pipes and cut them of in usfull lenghts, with heavy rod in those pipes and then welding the pipes on the old tracks. I am very gratified with the result. Have repaird about 5-6 of the most wornd tracks. I have more rod and pipe at home so the tacktic is to repair when a track is broken. only 59 tracks left... :razz:
when i still had split the tracks i also fit in to mark-up welding the driving wheels, those where also very worned
