If you run over(find) another forks at a good price you could use them with a third grapple arm.
Then you also have a spare set of forks if the main ones fails.

I have a lumbergrapple like the one you are showing and they are beasts. Heavy things.

I made a good deal with the guy, can’t find another set of forks for that amount.
So now I don’t have to drop the logs on the mill anymore

I have to registrate my 4200, and sent a picture of the type plate. Only the VIN number is quite short, only 2429 or something like that. On the chassis I can’t find the VIN number. Does someone has a picture of the original Volvo plates and where I can find them?

Long time no updates unfortunately. Busy with moving to a new house, restoring the new house, 1 year old son, and that sort of things...
But this week I move the 4200 home so I can finally finish it!

The registration became a problem, the authorities didn't registrate it with only the identification plate of the importing company (Poclain). I can't find the number in the chassis, and I can only see a few small holes where the plates were pinned on the chassis. Can I find new, blank plates so I can hammer the number in it myself? And where can I find the number in the chassis? It looks like the chassis is sanded and painted in the past, so can't find it...

I did some cleaning around the tylt and lyft levers, and tested the magnets for the automatik functions. The connectors were worn out and not connected to anything, so I tried the magnets with 24V of a charger, no results. I think I found the relais of the tylt automatik switch, and that worked. Is it wired from the relais to the sensor, and then to the magnets? Where can I find these magnets or how can I properly test them?

Finally some time to finish the Volvo! It ended up in the corner because there were lots of other projects that were more important unfortunately. The cabin vents at the front are quite bad, especially the steel where they need to be bolted on. I noticed that other 4200's have other type vents that cover the entire space, where can I find that type of vents or is this original for newer type 4200's?

Okay thanks. 2 of the plastic vents are broken, but especially the steel behind it is rotten. So maybe I just cut it out and look for a grid where I can cover it completely. It is too thin for welding I'm afraid.
