Edith..
https://dbtc.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php ... b4d7f3ee91I'm pretty sure that the O rings are standard Imperial ones, I know the one that seals the
lever ball
retainer to body is 1" internal diametre so no reason why the rest should not be Imp sizes. I'll look them up in the parts
list book to see if the sizes are given and report back.
Here are the sizes.
Lever ball. 1" internal diameter.
Front blanking ports. 5/8" internal dia.
Body to axle. 3/4" int dia.
Inside 'adaptor plate' (casting on the 3-way-valve body nearest your leg). 11/16" int dia.
Bottom of
valve (under the breather hole). 7/16 int dia.
O ring sizes quoted in manuals that give outside dia measurement are relative to their cross-section thickness also. Internaly sized O rings prevent
oil leakage feed under
pressure and external sized prevents oil return leakage
All sorted, back together and working perfectly.
Spool simply lifted out after three allen screws removed. No need to touch detent balls and springs. Bottom O ring knackered
