I am Dutch (nothern part of the Netherlands). I have a few questions, probably can be answered by this swedish forum.
Recently I bought an old maltreated but beautifully designed small lathe. The trademark as was indicated on the lathe is"" Triton Junior"". But I could not trace any lathe manufacturer called Triton. Via help of a dutch forum I found out that it is a swedish Högbo lathe.
Below a few pictures of the lathe. As you can see it is dirty and locally rusty. None of the bearings rotate well but as far as I can see there is no fatal damage nor play in the bearings of the main axis.
My plan is to restore this nice machine or at least to bring it back into a status that it can be used again for basic lathing functions.
But, I do not have any data of Högbo.
Could somebody of this forum give me any help in tracing the particular type of this lathe and any documentation like partslist, exploded view or manual? Probably somebody of you owns such a lathe and can advise me about restoration.
The images below speak for their own. In particular from the last three images show details which made me conclude it is a Högbo lathe.
kind regards
