True, it is extremely dangerous machine. I already used it to split 10m3 of firewood without any harm but I need to be 100% aware of where my hands are in every single second.

Btw, new project. I am using air transporter for filling of my corn silo (there is some info on earlier pages here) but i lacked the cyclon on the end of the transport tube that should slow the corn down and remove dust. Since there is no way to find and buy one that fits (my air transporter is a bit overkill with 200mm diameter pipes), I decided to make one based on images I saw on web. I used piece of 200l oil barrel and various pieces of junk sheet metal. It is not very nice looking but it will do the job. I found one on much smaller air transporter (100mm diamtere pipes) here in village (guy I know owns it) and used it as an example. There is lot of work to do, I need to close the side and mount grid that will allow the air to go out.

Hi guys!!

As usual, I am soo bussy but had lot of projects going on, I will try to post some pictures in next days.

One quick question!
I have an option to change my Zetor 7045 for a Zetor 8011 with front loader. So 4wd for a quite stronger 2wd (65HP vs. 80HP). What do you think about it, is 8011 a good replacement for a 7045? All implements will remain the same (2x14" plough, 2.5m power harrow). The reason I think about replacing the tractor is front loader (it is must have really, I have to ask my neighbour to lift something for me all the time), 8011 is stronger and the most important, I whink it is more agile - 7045 takes extremely lot of space to turn so I can almost never use it with trailer since It is very hard to make any maneuver and my yard is very small.

If your fields is not to steep and wet I guess it´s a good idea and it´s awkward to ask others for help all the time you need it. But I prefer 4wd all the time both with cars and tractors for the traction in both mud and snow and when you´re pulling something, besides you don´t need so much power.

I would recommend to stay with the FWD as you plan to keep current machinery. Far better traction in the steep hills. Keep in mind: you know what you have, but not what you can get.
Why not build a front loader for your tractor? You seem fully capable to pull such a project?

FWD AND Front end loader !

You need FWD, today and tomorrow, the last floodrain is only a few days in the past next time is it the same problem.

I'd to say stick to 4wd. get a loader for the one you have.
8011 is a completely different machine than yours. and id prefer it but i still say stick to 4wd.

Thank you guys for good advices, I will listen to you and keep away from 8011, you have the point, it is strong but 4WD is and will remain more usefull in bad terrain than much stronger 2WD.

Btw, here you can see some of my latest projects.

Here, I made forklift for my 40HP IMT539, completely out of scrap as usual. Forks are made from leaf springs from a heavy truck, rest is random junk I found/bought here and there. It will be used mostly forwarpped round bales. Forks can be removed and it seems that it was a good idea to make them so since I have idea for my next project.





Second, I got fed up with problems with my trailer tires. In last 20 years I am having some problems with tires. My father bought some used ones but they broke due to their age, then some pick up tires with only 6PR and when they died we bought used military Hummer tires, they were good but age got them too. Then we bought some new ones made in Turkey but they proved to be shit quality.

One day I simply decided to do my sort of solution for a problem. Total and complete overkill.

I bought two 385/50R22.5 truck tires with 20PR and 4500kg max load per tire (load index 160), then bought two steel wheels (11.75"x22,2") for them with zero offset. Friend of mine made two adapter plates according to my drawings, I welded them adapters to the wheels, mounted them on the trailer and that is it. These bigf tires are very cheap (20-30 EUR per piece) and can be bough everywhere even if I manage to break them (I can not load more than 4 tons in my trailer so I highly doubt it).

Yes, they are maybe too big but they fit nicely and look sick











Also, is it true you got bad and cold weather there? I heard so in news. Here we have drought again, it is very hot (35C and more) and no rain in last 4 weeks and no rain in next 2 to 3 weeks at least.

I coud make something linke this for my small tractor, it is more agile so I could maybe use to to load manure and not do it by hand anymore.

I have a friend who use these. and he is verry fond of them. you get the load on the best axle and steering in the best end. The downside is the comfort and it might block the trailer hitch.

The forks give the bouncing roundbales a new meaning, with the potholes in the road you can pass the bales to your naighbour
