Hi all!Remember that river that went wild and flooded us in 2014?Well,it is completely frozen now!We had -20 yesterday and -25 this morning,the lowest temperatures measured in this area in last 60 years!!

Very interesting to read about the extreme weather(once again). Hope the waterlines don´t give you trouble? What kind of heating of the house do you have over there, does it keep up with the cold? Here we had a couple of days with -20°C but now averaging around -5. Quite normal.

No problems with water anymore,we had no rain and very,very little snow in last month and more.Whole parts of Europe are in trouble now becouse of snow and low temperatures,it is much worse in some parts of Serbia,Hungary,Poland,Croatia.In southers parts of Serbia they fight with more than 2 meters of snow,even Turkey is in trouble,Istanbul is under snow and ice.They say that this is some sort of weather phenomen,extremely cold air flows from Siberia directly to this part of Europe.Situation in my area is not bad,it is very abd unusualy cold but we have no problems,i prepared a lot of firewood.We have no special insulation but i plan to make ut this summer,it will spare me a lot of firewood.

Hi all!! Here i am back again with new projects!

First of all, a problem. My small rotary tiller died( again), one of the piston rings broke, luckily it did not damage cylinder. I bought new piston rings (they are very cheap, only 4 euro for 2 pieces and 4 euro for delivery), and managed to repair it again. We were at potato planting when it happend.


Here you can also see me and my colegue, we were measuring some parts on large coal loader there behind us










We have very nice weather now, quite warm so I already started to prepare my fields for corn planting, I will probably plant it on Saturday (01.04.).

Hi all!

I have a problem and need advice. I want to do some repairs on my power harrow, few bearings and seal rings need replacement. Problem is that I need to remove knife holder that is secured with self lockin nut M35x1,5, this little fu**ers



Since there was no way to find and buy socket wrench for this type of nut, some workshop made one for me by using drawing I made. Wrench fits great but that is all that was great.

There is no possible way to unscrew it. I used 1 meter long pipe as a lever but it still won't get loose. Do you have some advice what to do now? I tried unscrewing spray but it dit not help.

Here is parts list drawing shere you can see how it all looks, problem is nut number 61.

Yes, i checked that first. It is normal, right hand thread.

I was also thinking about heating, do not own acetylene burner so i though about buying something like this

but i am not sure will it be enough, how much should i heat it? Problem is, there is a lot of oil up there, i must be very carefull while heating it. I will buy this small gas burner today and try it.

If close to oil seals and stuff, induction heat is best.


Or build induction heater of transformators.

A Acetylene/Oxygen concentrated flame on 2-3 spots until dark red color on the nut is what I think is best.

But I think your gas-burner will help you also, I hope it is a concentrated flame so you get most of the heat on the nut.
Maybe it is Thread Lock (glue) on? If so, 200-300 C will loosen that up.

If it is a standard nut, drill and split it, then replace to a new one.
Nut: KM7 =M35X1,5

I thought about splitting it too. It is standard KM7 nut (M35x1,5) but they are nowhere to be found here.

Guys I made it!!

Yes, but the other way around. First I removed small bearing housing from above (position 64), then small bearing (position 72, bearing is 6306), then lock nut KM7 (position 61) by using socket wrench and then whole blade carrier and shaft can be pulled from down under. After that, i removed 6 bolts (position 55) and whole lower bearing housing came down too (position 52. Then i pushed lower bearing (position 45, bearing is 6308) out from its housing and sealing ring too (position 49). It took me 30 minutes and almost no effort for one unit (there are 12 units, i dissasembled 2 today) . All parts are cleaned now, i will buy all lower bearings and sealing rings (12 pieces each) becouse they are in bad condition at Friday and continue to replace them all. Upper bearings (6306) are in good shape so I will not replace them now.

I will make some pictures tomorow, i totaly forgot to do it today becouse i was simply to excited
